It started with a van.

The original Silver Lady — Isle of Skye, Scotland.

The businesses grew.
The name remained.

Silver Lady Holdings takes its name from YR18 UCF, the first van acquired by Stuart Dargue in 2019 and affectionately known as The Silver Lady.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, she carried time-critical samples to laboratories. As the business developed, she went on to undertake increasingly specialist transport work, including dangerous goods and explosives.

Those early years helped establish principles that remain important to the group: reliability, discretion, specialist knowledge and taking responsibility for difficult work.

From one vehicle came new opportunities, businesses and eventually a group of companies.

The name is a reminder of that beginning.
